ffl3 name comparisons - summary
a summary of the changes in character and ability names between the gameboy (gb) and collection of saga (CoS) versions of ffl3.

comments
unlike in CoS ffl, the two different Gazes were not renamed in CoS ffl3 and remain ambiguous. (Remedy and Poison are also still ambiguous, but since their functions are similar maybe it was thought not to matter?)
the name Balor now agrees better with that name in dialogue, which was always Balor.
although talents in ffl3 have eight letters available, "Headbut" and "Dissolv" didn't seem to realise it in the gb version, and CoS didn't change this (unlike in CoS ffl2 where we have "Headbutt").
[!]Vulkan still does not agree with other entries in the series, which have Vulcan. Defence (both sword and pill) still does not agree with the u.s. spellings used in the rest of the game script...
